Dr Camilla Allen is a researcher and designer based in South Yorkshire, where she has lived since 2012 after leaving London to study landscape architecture at the University of Sheffield. Camilla completed a doctorate on the twentieth century forester and environmentalist Richard St. Barbe Baker in 2021, and is currently balancing teaching, editing The Politics of Street Trees, and getting her hands dirty (both literally and metaphorically) in other projects involving trees, gardens and wheat.
